Avengers Age of Ultron Press Tour: A Dramatic Trip Around the World

The Avengers: Age of Ultron  promotional press tour has finally come to an end, and our super heroes are exhausted.  Although the tour was a success, a lot of drama surrounded the cast as they swept from city to city.  From heated moments with nosey interviewers, to bashing a fellow female super hero, the Avengers did not fail to enrage the internet.  Just this past week Robert Downey Jr (otherwise known as Tony Stark) deliberately walked out on a british interviewer when asked about his past. Downey, who has been known to struggle with drug addiction, didn't expect to end up talking about his past trouble days. The interview was supposed to be about the new Avengers movie, but took a Dianne Sawyer turn when Krishnan Guru-Murphy appeared to be more interested in Downey's troubled past.  Krishnan grilled Robert on a quote he said many years ago about liberalism.  Downey was visibly uncomfortable as he obviously tried to steer the interview back on the right path.  "Are we promoting a movie?" Downey asked, expressing his aggravation. When Krishnan continued to pelt RDJ with questions about his past, Downey was quick to get up and walk out.  Downey's only regret was that he hadn't walked out sooner. (See video below).

Captain America and Hawk Eye also had some awkward interview moments. When Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner were asked about Black Widow's romantic relations with the men of Avengers, some degrading comments were shared.  Both Jeremy and Chris apologized a few days after. "I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone. It was not meant to be serious in any way.  Just poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour," Renner stated apologetically.
It can't be an Avengers press tour without some good old superhero drama!
